Durham Ballet Theatre (DBT) is our sister 501(c)(3) nonprofit ballet company, which annually performs a Winter Showcase at our studio and a full-length storybook ballet at the Carolina Theatre in Durham.

The goal of DBT is to create an artistic platform that is culturally inclusive while promoting artistry, development of technique, and dance in all its forms. DBT takes pride in the fact that the company is very diverse; DBT casts solely from auditions that are open to the public and invites professional guest artists to collaborate with the cast. DBT strives to see more children and adults of diverse ethnic backgrounds and varied abilities find their way to performing with the company.
