All Classes
All of our ballet and pointe classes are taught using the American Ballet Theatre’s National Training Curriculum. This curriculum is a breakthrough 8-level program that combines high-quality artistic training with the basics of dancer health and child development using a comprehensive set of age-appropriate, outcome-based guidelines to provide the highest quality ballet training to dance students of all ages and skill levels.
In addition to our repertoire of classes, we also offer workshops year-round in aerial silks, aerial lyra, ballet, contemporary, jazz and theater when an opportunity arises. We post notices on our Facebook when there is a potential workshop. These workshops are open to anyone in the dance and theater community.

Ballet
Classical ballet origins can be traced to the 15th century Renaissance courts. It reached its heyday in the late 19th century when it was structured and codified in the style recognized around the world today.
We utilize the ABT National Training Curriculum in all ballet classes.

Children's Ballet
Our Children’s Division is subdivided into Primary classes for ages 3-7 and Levels 1A-2 for ages 8-10.
Our ballet training program for young dancers promotes creativity and discipline, enabling children to reach their highest potential. Not only do students receive the best technical training with ABT’s National Training Curriculum, but they are guided by caring instructors who nurture their students’ love for dance.
Students ages 3-10 are introduced to music and movement using imaginative and playful techniques in our Primary and Levels 1A-2 classes. Your young dancer will experiment and learn to respond to music rhythmically through both freeform and directed ballet-based movements of their body. And most importantly, they'll have fun! Age-appropriate cognitive skills, such as counting, sequential organization, spatial awareness and comparative abstract concepts are woven into the class structure.

Aerial Silks, Lyra, & Trapeze
Our aerial program is placement-based to ensure students train safely and progress at a pace that supports strength, confidence, and skill development. Classes are divided by both age and experience, and students may be asked to remain in a level for more than one session before advancing.
Students' training includes methods of climbing, foot locks onto the fabrics, and learning basic movements on the fabrics and aerial safety. Students then extend their working repertoire of aerial movements, their core strength, their stamina, and their body control. As students progress, they will learn new climbs and locks, as well as additional movements including inversion all based on having a fundamental control in silks. Students will explore staying in the air and combining several movements in order to build a base for future performances.
