If you must pay by check or cash we must still have a valid card on file and  your payment must be received at the studio office before the tuition due date. If payment has not been received by the due date your payment will be processed using the information on file.

Each family is responsible for maintaining updated information via the online parent portal; this includes entering a debit or credit card number or banking information for the purpose of making secure tuition payments for automatic processing.

Students admitted mid-month will pay a prorated amount for the remaining classes in that period. Once classes have begun tuition is not refundable.  If a student misses a class, they are expected to make the class up in an appropriate level.

There is a yearly registration fee of $45 for each student with a maximum of $80/family. All students need to have completed online registration before beginning class. Registration fees are non-refundable and a mid-year withdrawal from school will incur a new registration fee upon re-enrollment. Fees are due at the time of enrollment for the academic year and not prorated. With enrollment each student will receive a DSBPA t-shirt.

Tuition

Tuition is paid in advance of class participation, and once tuition is paid, it is non-refundable. The only exception is in the case of serious disability or injury; in this case, a refund may be granted pending approval of the director and a letter from the student’s physician.

Tuition is calculated on a dance school academic session. For Fall 2021 (September 6 - December 18, 2021), there are 14 training weeks divided into 4 monthly payment periods.  Some months will have more classes than others, but it will average out over the course of the session.

Tuition is based on the number of class hours per week, and the cost per hour is lower as class hours increase.
