Summer Camps, Classes & Workshops

Why Summer Dance? With all of the options of activities for students to participate in over the summer, why choose a summer dance program? Besides taking a break from the summer heat and lazy days, summer dance programs allow students to continue their dance training over the summer and not let their technique and ability take a step back. Throughout the school year, kids are learning all day, every day.

Camps are a great resource to trigger their brains in a fun and athletic way. Plus the intensive aspect of the camp leads the student to serious improvements in a short period of time.

  • Back into the Groove

When dancers return to a rigorous training schedule after a break, they can feel stiff and weak and lack stamina, this mini-intensive will help them get back into shape.

After the rest and relaxation of a summer break, coming back to dance class can be tough. Even after just a few weeks off, it can feel like starting from scratch. Where did all that hard-earned stamina go? Why aren’t legs getting as high as they were? Before diving straight back in and pushing too hard too fast, it’s important to think about your plan.
