Alain Molina
Men's Ballet

Alain Molina, a native of Cuba, entered the School of Ballet in Havana at 14. In 1994, he began his professional career with the National Ballet of Cuba under the direction of Alicia Alonso. 

In 1997, Mr. Molina danced with the Ballet of the S.O.D.R.E. Ballet Company in Montevideo, Uruguay under Elena Madam Vera. Mr. Molina was a founding member of Carolina Ballet where he danced many principal roles.


Durham School for Ballet & the Performing Arts’ aim is to provide a space for the cultivation of creativity through dance. Dance is inventing, experimenting, growing, taking risks, breaking rules, making mistakes, and having fun. Our role as Dance Educators is to help children climb their own mountains.
